this creation by Demi and Olive tops the list of things I loved this month
Every month I spend some time digging through my blog and social media stats to see what you guys are loving, what posts resonated with you, what Pinterest is talking about and how you guys feel about the items of clothes I’ve managed to slap on before running to carpool. I’ve actually never shared them before but thought it might be fun to start rounding up the end of each month with all of things ya’ll loved and the stuff I’m currently loving that deserves a share!
What I’m reading: I’m listening to China Rich Girlfriend (of the Crazy Rich Asians series by Kevin Kwan) on Audible and love the books for a quick, easy read. I turn it on when I’m cleaning or doing laundry to pass the time.
What I’m Watching: with both Big Bang Theory and Game Of Thrones ending this month, I needed a new show to fill the void. I started watching Superstore on the NBC app and am really loving it. It’s sort of a cross between the Office and BBT and Justin likes it too, which is a total bonus.
Best Purchase: Hands down, the jean jacket is my best purchase of the month. That price point, the stretch in the arms and the perfect wash made it a slam dunk.
Most Popular Blog Post: the most popular post published this month actually came down to a tie between two very different posts, but both of them are extremely useful so I get it! This post on the best denim shorts and this post on simple ways I cope with anxiety scored the most page views during the month of May.
Most Popular Post on Pinterest: this post is always making waves and I can see why – and P.S. those cracker crisp things are life.
Most Purchased Item: this dress! Even though it wasn’t available in the blue pattern I own, you guys loved the red!
Most asked about on DM: besides Murphy (read about him joining our family here), this bracelet, which was a gift from Megan, sparked the most DMs.
May Instagram Outfit Round Up
This was the most purchased item of the month! I’m wearing a Large and if I wanted the top buttons to button, I’d need an XL. If you’re busty and want all those buttons to button up, size up!
This blue dress was my second fave purchase of the month because it’s so versatile. Super soft, pockets, flattering on a large bust and a great length, I just don’t think you can go wrong with it. I’m in a medium.
This sweater was a purchase during the shorts try on marathon session and I love how light weight it is – absolutely perfect for layering in the summer. I’m in a medium.
This dress was a complete stroke of luck – I saw it on a Facebook ad and ordered it right away because of the price point. It also comes in black and is an incredibly light weight linen blend. It’s designed perfectly for a large bust thanks to the smocking in the back and it could easily smuggle a baby bump or flatter a post baby body.
The white tee is still happening for me, especially paired with distressed jeans and a hat over a ton of dry shampoo! I’m in a large and own it in 2 colors!
