It’s Friday!
Of course, I’m linking up with the 5 on Friday girls for a quick run down of the things I’ve loved this week!

1. These Shoes

Ya’ll, I bought these shoes at Target on clearance for $5.98!
Seriously, for $5 if I wear them once and they get ruined in all of our fall rain, then so be it! They are really comfy and honestly really cute….I just couldn’t resist. The green is neutral enough that I’ve worn them with pretty much everything but especially my C Wonder jacket that dominates my fall wardrobe.

2. This Gift

My Mother In Law, Mary, brought me this sweet gift when they came to visit last weekend….it’s a Christmas ornament with my new monogram, her dried MIL bouquet from our Wedding Day and wine corks from our reception bar. The planning and thought that went into this little gift is enormous and I can’t wait to hang it on our first married Christmas tree.

3. This Night

So, if you read my post yesterday, you now know my secret: I hate Halloween (and it turns out that a ton of ya’ll do too!). So, what did I do last night instead of handing out candy to the rain soaked, freezing candy monsters that rang our bell? I went on a Lady Date with Melissa. To a grown up, somewhat chic (for Bangor), half priced bottle of wine selling restaurant.
P.S. you know you hit up half price wine night too often when the server knows the bottle you’re going to order.
P.P.S. you also know you talk too loud when they seat you in the farthest corner from the rest of the diners possible.
We treated ourselves to a super healthy dinner of french fries and and lobster dip – and of course, more than one bottle of cheap wine. By the end of the night, we were starting every.single.sentence with “this might be TMI buuuut….”
Perfect. Night.

4. This Monogram

Finally! Finally, I have a piece of jewelry with my new married monogram. My In Laws gave this necklace to me as my Christmas gift and I haven’t taken it off yet. It’s even more fun now that I’ve officially changed my name!

5. This Weekend

This weekend we have nothing planned: no traveling, not guests, no work, no required activities. I am beyond thrilled….I think this is my first free weekend in like 2 solid months. I plan to only buy items at the grocery store that will make dips and to lay on the sofa all day Saturday. Tonight may involve gambling and dancing, but we’ll see where the night takes us!

Have a fab weekend ya’ll!
