Great news, everyone:
It’s officially swim try on season!
It’s your favorite time of year and I’m ready to deliver. This year, we’ll try on swimwear from Amazon, Target and Boden. I’ll also try on a handful of specialty suits and we’ll snag some cover ups, too.
Today, we’re kicking things off with five one piece swim suits from Amazon. Patting myself on the back that each suit is under $30 and they’re all crazy gorgeous.
If you’re in the market for tankinins, rash guards or nursing friendly suits, then this is the post for you.
If you’re wondering about Summersalt Sidestroke, Sunbather or Marina one pieces, check out this post.

Apologies that the photos aren’t super sharp – they are not edited in any way except for brightness, no body edits etc, I just snagged still images from the video clips I shot and they didn’t turn out as well I had hoped. Lesson learned!
This is my fave suit of the round up, so let’s start here! Perfect for those of us who want to camo the tummy area, the criss cross design and cut outs draw your eye up and to the bust-line. The back has a great criss cross detail and a tie for better breast support. For busty girls, I love the top support/cup size and found the straps really comfy.
Bust: removable cups
Leg: high cut
Rear: cheeky
Shown in: Black – available in a ton of colors!

I was pleasantly surprised by this little suit! It reminds me of the bodysuit vibe that is all the rage in swim this year with the ribbed material and v neck detail. The material is insanely soft to the touch and so comfy to wear. I think it’s flattering without feeling like your’e being suffocated in compression. It does come in black if you’re nervous about the shade of pink.
As a note: The listing calls the cups “push up” and I don’t think thats accurate at all. When I think push up, I think Victorias Secret in the nineties, and these are just cups that keep your boobs in the spot they should be in.
Bust: the v is held up by a wire, but the cups only have soft, removable pads.
Leg: high rise
Rear: cheeky

This it the perfect suit for the mamas who are always in the pool with their littles. Nothing puts a suit to the test list a toddler grabbing at it with their tiny finger-claws and this is the suit that will pass the test. I love the sporty vibe of this suit paired with a few unexpected details like the scoop neck and strappy back. I felt pulled in and put together in the suit, which is really all that I can ask for!
Bust: scoop neckline, thin padded cups
Leg: mid rise
Rear: medium coverage
Shown in: navy
Wearing size: Large

Don’t panic about the strapless, it comes with straps! I do love a bandeau style suit and this one really checks all of the boxes: flattering across the tummy, mid rise leg with great booty coverage, a gorgeous twist detail at the bust to elevate the look and draw the eye up and a great, secure fit.
Bust: firm cups, removable straps included
Leg: mid rise
Rear: full coverage
Shown in: Navy Blue – available in a ton of colors
Wearing size: Large

The best of both worlds! This cut out suit has a bit of sex appeal with the support of a tummy control panel. The straps are adjustable and it took me a second to get one of my boobs in just right, but once adjusted, I really did love the look. You can adjust the width of the cut out to show a bit more skin if you wanna!
Bust: very firm cups with a bit of push up,
Leg: high rise
Rear: eh, I called it “a little bit of booty hanging out” so see video for details!
Shown in: Dark Blue
Wearing size: Large
