Wedding bells are in the air, specifically the crisp fall air, and it’s always an exciting time to celebrate our loved ones and their love. Shopping for dresses as a wedding guest can be really stressful. Is this an appropriate shade, how about the cut, will I be too hot or too cold, you know the works. In true Olive and Tate fashion I’ve done the research and scoured the World Wide Web so you don’t have to.

1. Green Floral Dress: Green is definitely a trending fall color this year and I love how it has sprung into action before the Christmas season. This Green Floral Dress is loose, light and lovely. I’m a size 10 in this brand. Fits quite comfortable.
2. Silk Keyhole Dress: Amazon has some wins and this is a star solid 10. A Silk Keyhole dress is the most elegant pick for my more conservative girlies who love to give that old school Hollywood glam look.
3. Champagne Slip Dress: You can’t go wrong with a slip dress. The champagne color here is very distinct and bright, so no dirty looks from the “is that white?” crew. A slip dress is always comfortable and can be dressed all the way up or simply accessorized.
4. One Shoulder Midi Dress: Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean we need to shy away from vibrant colors. The orange and pink collab on this midi dress is stunning and the floral detail is beautiful.
5. Floral Print Maxi Dress: Don’t kill me for this, but this is giving off “Pumpkin Spice Queen” and I’m living for it. Completely on brand for a fall wedding.
6. Black Floral Cocktail Dress: This Black Floral Cocktail Dress does it for me every single time I look at it! The silhouette is stunning, talk about accentuating your figure. The dark background and mix of colors is a great palate for some bold accessories.
7. Navy Tiered Maxi: Elegant is all that comes to mind here. Comfortable, chic, and elegant.
8. Navy and White Floral Dress: So chic and very fun. This cocktail Navy and White Floral Dress is probably for the younger crowd with such a structured cut and fit but the design is really subtle and pretty.
9. Blue Floral One Sleeve Dress: I’m not sure what it is about Blue Floral that I think looks amazing on everyone. This dress has a lot going on, in a very cohesive way, but for the ladies who don’t like the pressure of accessorizing and having to do much past the dress this is it.
10. Black Bow Back Dress: Last but never least, the LBD. Beautiful dainty detail with the bow in the back (which also accentuates your waist), a nice length for all styles of shoe, and who doesn’t look a cute puff sleeve.
