Happy May! My genuine wish for May is that we no longer experience temperatures below freezing. A simple wish, but a pie in the sky one none the less.
I may have mentioned that my Nesting has really reached a level of shocking proportion. I may or may not have ripped out our carpet runner with my bare hands and then left it there for Justin to help me do the rest because I couldn’t lift it….yeah, that’s called Nesting (crazy style). Anyway, another area of my house was recently hit by Hurricane Nesting and got a little makeover…
Our Entry Way Before
And After:
The new look is much more in keeping with the style of the house and honestly, appears to be much more baby friendly. I kept looking at the old set up and thinking it looked like a death trap. I actually owned all of the pieces that I used to make over the entry way – the silver mirror is from Home Goods and was in my closet, the desk was my mother’s as a child and I painted it following the same method and using the same materials as the baby’s chest and the special trinkets on top are all wedding gifts or souvenirs from our travels.
Overall, the make over cost $0 and makes me super happy!

Don't you love recreating looks with stuff you already have? It's the best and guilt free! Love the new console table it looks very cozy. I hope it warms up for you!!

This turned out so great!!! Love the mirror and tray 🙂
That looks great! And slightly safe for when you have a mobile baby.
I really love the new mirror!! Very well styled!
Oh I love that desk!! The makeover looks so good, I agree that getting rid of the glass top table was probably a good idea with baby Gray on the way. My parents had one of those when I was a kid and they got rid of it after my stupid 3-year-old self kept standing up under it and hitting my head. ha!
